Sandra, The Truly Caring Nurse!

Sandra is the most important nurse we have at Bio Medical. She has been working here for almost 25 years and has helped our facility grow and prosper by continuing to go "above and beyond" in any way she can. Our patients love her because she truly cares about every one of them (even when they aren’t very nice to her). She helps everyone else at the hospital also. She helps the doctors by keeping them on track, almost like each one’s administrative assistant. She helps train the administrative assistants, and most of all, she helps the new nurses who come on board to learn the business of nursing. Due to Sandra’s mentoring, we have a whole staff of nurses aiming to be just like her. (Few attain that but all try to.) Sandra helps us achieve the high service standard we seek and in so doing, boosts the morale of everyone she comes into contact with throughout the hospital. Sandra moved to the US back in 1981, studied nursing at the University of Phoenix, and started at Bio Medical in 1985. We refer to the hospital as just "Bio." Some adjectives that describe Sandra are: capable, friendly, lovable, loyal, imaginative and hard-working.   Sandra! The Truly Caring Nurse Of all the nursing staff we have Our Sandra is the best Since 1985 she’s been A cut above the rest Since Sandra joined the Bio team Our center’s grown so much Due mainly to the nursing staff And Sandra’s caring touch She has that charismatic smile That makes you feel at ease She’s loyal, friendly, capable, And eager just to please She mentors all the younger staff And helps in every way She keeps the doctors on their toes And acts as their P.A. With all the extra work she does She’s just so versatile And all the staff and doctors say She makes their jobs worthwhile The nurses try to emulate Her caring ways and skill And though a few may make the grade There’s some who never will For Sandra is a special nurse An angel from above And everyone at Bio knows She fills the place with love So on behalf of all the staff And all the patients too We thank you Sandra for your love And everything you do We cannot thank you enough, Sandra But we’re trying!
