EpicRenditions.com has two missions, both revolving around the idea that people enjoy being recognized.

First, Epic Renditions aims to help make businesses thrive by providing recognition to it's employees, or by enhancing the entity's image. Effective employee recognition results in better quality work, higher productivity, happier employees and longevity. The organization itself benefits substantially as a direct result of a properly executed recognition program.

Second, Epic Renditions conveys heartfelt personal messages of true friendship, deep love, and sincere appreciation. We are committed to brightening the lives of our customers, often lightheartedly, but always in a way that has a Positive Impact on all individuals involved.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Rendition. We dedicate considerable time and resources to every Rendition we create by carefully considering every word that goes into them. At least two Composers contribute to each Rendition and every Rendition undergoes a comprehensive review assuring that our rigid quality standards are met. If you are not satisfied with a Rendition, despite several attempts on our part to remedy your concerns, we will either provide you with a credit for another Rendition or we will refund all or part of your investment (at our option). At Epic Renditions, we believe in fair and honest dealings with our customers. It is always our goal to exceed your expectations.

The fine print:
There isn't any fine print. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed!

Epic Renditions operates with an absolute minimal environmental footprint. We use virtually no paper, limited fuel, and very little energy (aside from tons of personal energy). Although our manpower staffing is international, we conduct most of our business affairs by telecommunicating and by remote computer access, so we do no harm to our environment. In fact, we plant trees! We are proud members of the National Audubon Society, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Arbor Day Foundation.

EpicRenditions.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Positive Impact Corporation. We are an equal opportunity employer operating as a for-profit entity "with a heart". We donate 10% of our annual profits to charitable causes.

Our company name was selected after we combed through 1,378 pages of Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary. That's a lot of words! Don't feel sorry for us, though. We love words, and in retrospect, the process was quite an important step for us to take. We didn't realize it at the time, but the exercise assisted us in developing the tools we need to create our inimitable "Renditions!"

The process also helped us choose a pretty cool name. To select the name, we listed all the words we liked and then arranged them by meaning and phonetic sound. We combined the words in various ways in order to most appropriately describe what EpicRenditions.com does. In order to do this, we first needed to decide which facet of the company we wanted to emphasize. For example, if we wanted the focus to be on our deliverable, i.e. our Rhyming and Rhythmic Renditions (which we did), we had alternatives such as "OdesOfHonor.com," "LyricalMiracles.com" and "ViaVerse.com." We realized that the "stars" of our Renditions were our Gift Recipients, so we needed to also consider names that focused on them, such as "HonoredOnes.com" and "TreasuredOnes.com." We thought of names like "MotivatEm.com" and "TreasurEm.com," which we thought were good for highlighting the business value of our Corporate Renditions. We considered names that focus on the long-term aspect of the gift, such as "UnforgetaGift.com" and "ForeverEpics.com." To address the fact that our Renditions take time and effort to create, we considered names like "PersevereAVerse.com" and "BeyondAnEpic.com." We even came up with names to describe exclusively humorous Renditions and a funny web site, such as "BlaringWhispers.com" and "MillerTimeGifts.com." Further still, our name could have focused on our Composers (the actual writers of our Renditions), such as in "MaestroVerse.com" or "SilverTongueVerse.com." Finally, we realized that our products require teamwork, i.e. the work of the person or persons buying the gift (who create the Rendition Profile) and our Composers who use that information to write our Renditions. So perhaps our name should focus on teamwork such as in "ConstructAVerse.com" or "InteractiVerse.com." As we've stated, we are happy with our choice of EpicRenditions.com, but if you are interested in viewing a more exhaustive list of names we considered, we have placed them in table form below. The list comprises all of the above idea concepts as well as other idea concepts we considered for our name.

If you've looked through all of those names, thank you. Perhaps you are someone who cares as much about the words in the English language as we do! Well, there was one more part to our quest for the right business name.

Interestingly enough (and believe it or not) we chose another name before ultimately selecting EpicRenditions.com. It was "New Tradition Recognition." That was originally chosen to describe our goal to formulate a whole new way to recognize people, i.e. to create a new tradition. Ultimately, though, despite our belief that this name appropriately described the "new tradition" we were hoping to create, it was just too long. So, we switched from that name and ultimately chose EpicRenditions.com. Unfortunately, that switch did not occur until after we formed the company and completed our logo! As for our logo (both logos, in fact), they went through an enormous series of concepts and changes prior to being selected. We found this to be an enjoyable, but grueling and time-consuming process. Again, we are happy with the result, but we are glad we do not need to go through it again.
